Many astronomists often said that solar wind in large magnitude would blow to the earth from now on.
The solar wind is actually a bunch of plasma released from the sun when its surface burst to the outer space. It is also related with electromagnetism because plasma is electric charge itself. The magnetic field of the earth already protects us from space radiation and particles including the solar wind. When the solar wind strikes, the world lifestyle will be affected with such as power failure and telecommunication interference.
This phenomenon is very common in the sight of scientists. However, several news agencies superimposed on this incident as a serious catastrophe to the world extinct. (They usually like to attract readers.) I must suggest that do not believe everything you read from them. |
