Thare are some blogs out there [1] [2] given information about how to pronounce ASUS, the brand of a multinational computer product manufacturer. (It is not such a guitar chord.) They said in the same video clip that we must read it out loud as AY-soos (/ˈeɪsuːs/); it well made clear in English-spoken countries. The dramatic condition occurred when it conflicted with Thailand's company name since it had been registered and spelled as อัสซุส, US-soos (/ˈasus/). One party wants to read the English pronunciation while the other one wants to read the registered name as in Thai. I then emailed to the Thailand's company to ask for official declaration about this issue. I hope they pay attention and not throw it away.
