Yesterday, I and my mother went back to my home in Pathum Thani to check how my stuffs were.
Flood level has reduced around 1 metre (I saw stain on the walls), but the house is still unliveable since there was much water on roads outside. We cleaned the lower floor together that day and finished in a few hours. We could not carry furnitures from the upper floor because we did not have enough workers. We also camped for one night and went back to Hua Hin, my evacuating place.
Previously, We had to go to Lam Luk Ka district office to correct my important statement which it had made big mistake. According to my father, it was about heir inquiry document to get his pension (you should already know that he recently passed away). I went to the office that moment because the office just stayed out of water (it was affected by flood too). With the statement, I could continue the process of claiming my money. I also got contacted by an insurance agent while I was filling out some forms. She said that the compensation was ready but it was less than I expected. She will send it to Hua Hin soon. According to the flood, the government said that they will pay each victim 5,000 Baht (per house). Then, I already taken some photos of my dwelling to show them next time. |
